This past January, Case Western Reserve University incorporated two-factor authentication into the Virtual Private Network (VPN). Using two-factor authentication has been optional; however, effective April 20, users must use two-factor authentication to access the VPN.
Today, Information Technology Services will host a walk-in session for any member of the university community needing assistance with the setup and use of two-factor authentication. Students, faculty and staff members are invited to visit the Freedman Center in the Kelvin Smith Library from 1 to 3:30 p.m. to consult with an ITS staff member. Visitors are encouraged to bring their devices as well as their questions.
