Thrity Umrigar, Distinguished University Professor in the Department of English, recently had two children’s picture books published. Binny's Diwali (Scholastic) came out in September and Sugar in Milk (Running Press) was published in October.
Both books received positive reviews. Sugar in Milk received starred reviews from BookPage, Kirkus, School Library Journal, and was featured in the Wall Street Journal.
