Join us for a conversation on Friday, November 14th, 2025 at 7:30am with Rachel Pope, MD, MPH, "Clinical features, comorbidities, and diagnosis of perimenopause". Dr. Pope is an obstetrician/gynecologist in the Department of Urology with an appointment in the Department of Reproductive Biology at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. Dr. Pope's research is focused on obstetric fistula and public health topics including female sexual health and menopause. In addition to her work as a physician, Dr. Pope is a clinical instructor and associate professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Urology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

The UH ADVANCE (Advancing Diagnosis through Validated Analytics and Novel Collaborations for Excellence) Center was established in 2022 as a Diagnostic Safety Center of Excellence to identify best practices for diagnostic evaluation of common conditions prone to diagnostic error.
