Yang Han, an undergraduate student taking Japanese classes, competed in the 19th annual Japan-America Society of Central Ohio Japanese Speech Contest. Han presented the speech, "I Do Not Look Like an Otaku” and won first place.
Undergraduate student Connor Baumler, also taking Japanese classes, competed as well, presenting the speech "A Comparison of Japanese and American Sleeping Habits."
