Between noon and 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28, the university will conduct a test of its primary emergency notification systems:
- CaseWARN. Text and voice messages will be sent to your registered phone number, including cell phones. The system can translate text-to-voice for the visually impaired. Sign up for the CaseWARN system online.
- Informacast. Campus desk telephones (VoIP system) will receive an audible voice alert, and test messages will be displayed to the screen on the phone.
- Outdoor loudspeakers. The university has more than 20 outdoor loudspeakers placed around the campus. The speakers will send an alert tone or voice message during an emergency.
- Website. The main banner space on the university’s homepage, case.edu, may display a brief notification during an emergency with key information.
- Email. A campuswide email may be sent during an emergency with key information.
