Martijn Dalhuijsen, from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN-OCHA), will give multiple talks to the campus community about the current state of the humanitarian sector in the world.
UN-OCHA is the supporting international agency on the ground during many natural and complex emergencies and assists coordination of international actors under the affected country's government and ministry of health.
Dalhuijsen’s will give two talks Tuesday, Nov. 17, in the Iris S. and Bert L. Wolstein Research Building auditorium:
- “Overview of Humanitarian Interventions in 2014”: 3:15 to 4:15 p.m.
- “Overview of the State of the Aid Sector in 2015”: 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
