Valentine’s Day trivia question stumps; find out the answer

Though there were plenty of different guesses to this week’s trivia question, no one correctly named the location on campus where, legend has it, you can share a kiss with your significant other to lead to a happy life together. Many people guessed the Mather Arch, but according to Beyond the Fence: A Social History of Case Western Reserve by Richard E. Baznik, university historian and vice president emeritus for public affairs, a kiss between or underneath the “Unstable Tables” sculpture by Carl Floyd leads to a happy marriage. The sculpture, located on Carlton Road near South Residential Village, is made of large sandstone blocks.
