Tech startups use $1M in funding to attract $24M in venture capital

Malachi Mixon III Professor of Entrepreneurial Studies, explained how when states decide to fund a biotech innovation, venture capitalists are more encouraged to invest as well. “The private sector won’t fund biotech and life sciences startups alone,” he said. “If the government didn’t fund them, they probably wouldn’t happen.”
