Writing Program Award Ceremony

The annual Writing Program Award Ceremony honors and recognizes the university’s outstanding faculty who teach writing across campus. This year’s event will be held Wednesday, May 3, from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Guilford House Parlor (first floor). Attend the event to thank and congratulate the individuals who make CWRU’s Writing Program possible. Light refreshments will be served. Awards will be presented to the following individuals:

• Vanessa Hildebrand (anthropology), winner of the Jessica Melton Perry Award for Distinguished Teaching in Disciplinary & Professional Writing;
• James Newlin (English), winner of the SAGES Excellence in Writing Instruction Award;
• John Wiehl (English), winner of the WRC Excellence in Consulting Award.
