WRUW Live From Lakewood Festival

WRUW, Case Western Reserve University’s FM radio station, will host the fourth annual Live From Lakewood Festival Thursday, April 5, beginning at 8 p.m. at Mahall’s Twenty Lanes (13200 Madison Ave.). The acts playing will be:
  • Joe Jack Talcum of The Dead Milkmen
  • Coolzey
  • Me Time and The Raging Crush
  • The Tom Katlees
  • An American Astronaut
  • Valley Girls

About the acts

Joe Jack Talcum is the guitarist and co-lead vocalist for the punk rock group The Dead Milkmen. Residing in Philadelphia, Talcum has performed with a number of punk and indie rock groups, most recently The Low Budgets, and is also a solo artist Coolzey combines golden-era hip-hop, alternative rock and his Iowan roots, creating a wide, unpredictable arsenal that includes indie rock, battle rap and radio pop. Tickets cost $10. The festival will be broadcast live at wruw.org and will stream on YouTube and 91.1 FM. There also will be a cash bake sale. Purchase tickets.
