The Northern Ohio AGEP Alliance (NOA-AGEP) was an alliance of seven northern Ohio universities that supported historically minoritized PhD students.
Our Mission
NOA-AGEP sought to develop, implement, study, and institutionalize a model to improve minoritized PhD student participation, preparation and success in STEM and prepare them for the professoriate.
Each NOA-AGEP institution offered a variety of learning, training and development opportunities to prepare minoritized students for faculty careers in STEM fields.
NOA-AGEP collaborated with several Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to provide summer research opportunities to both graduate and undergraduate students.
