I suppose people usually put their hobbies or interests here. Problem is, I'm interested in almost literally anything. Which means my hobbies are always changing and growing... I guess I could summarize this by saying that my goal in life is to experience/do/know as much as I can! Basically, as long as I have the time, I'll be up for anything!
Any D1 course except dental materials and cariology. I dont remember a thing from those classes. In undergrad I was a TA for chemistry, so I could tutor that as well!.
I am from Cleveland, Ohio! I went to Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT for my undergraduate degree in biology. I am extremely passionate about scuba diving and anything related to the ocean (I’m a scuba instructor as well as a certified coral reef researcher). I love animals, video games, and long walks on the beach..
Without a doubt, my favorite and strongest subject is definitely Head and Neck (2nd semester D1 class)… I would love to help with this class in any way I can (class material and/or lab material). I can also help with any other D1 class except for Epidemiology, Dental Materials, Facial Growth, and BP Fixed (my least favorite classes).
Raquel (c/o 2017) grew up in Miami, Florida but now considers Columbus, OH her home. She studied International Relations and Community Health at Tufts University, and is very passionate about Public Health and community outreach. .
I am just a guy who spent the majority of his life in Maryland. I first went to Johns Hopkins and University of Maryland, and then to Oral Roberts University to find God, before finally ending up in Cleveland for dental school. Maybe now that Cleveland has Johnny Manziel, and the Browns get a lot better, native Clevelanders might forget a little bit of what Mr. Art Modell did. Maybe even one day I can wear my Baltimore Ravens polo shirt in public. I long for the day that I will be back in Maryland to eat Chesapeake blue crabs, topped with J.O. #2. Ray Lewis, I cannot wait to see you enshrined in Canton. Romans 8:31, Isaiah 54:17: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000135871/article/ray-lewis-speech-leaves-baltimore-ravens-in-tears (P.S. I am still looking for my soulmate. Maybe someday that amazing woman named “Jen” will finally show up in my life.).
Ehhh . . . I made so many mistakes my D1 year that I can tell you what not to do. Dental Anatomy and Head & Neck are the immediate two courses that come to my mind.

Fairly traditional applicant from the land of Canadia. I majored in Biology and did a pre-dental masters in New Orleans before applying to dental school. Love Reality TV a little more than I should (borderline Bravo addict) but I have to slow down during school. Love being involved and helping incoming students because that was a super stressful time for me..
FLS, Body as Host, Oral Histology, Heart and Lung, 1st Semester Waxing, Dental Anatomy, basic preps (e.g. Class 1/5 or abutments). Just ask, if I don't know how to help I can probably let you know someone who can!
