AI Speaker Series: The Future of AI in Nursing

Join the Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship on Tuesday, April 25, at 4:30 p.m. as part of the Case Western Reserve University Entrepreneurship Speaker Series, featuring Chitra Dorai, PhD, CEO and Founder of Amicus Brain.

Dorai will be featured in a panel discussion on the research, clinical, teaching and societal implications of artificial intelligence in nursing, and will be joined by School of Nursing faculty members:

  • Shanina Knighton, PhD, RN, CIC, Associate Research Professor
  • Kylie Meyer, PhD, Assistant Professor
  • Joachim Voss, PhD, RN, ACRN, FAAN, Professor

This event will take place at the Health Education Campus in room 176, with a virtual option available via Zoom for remote attendees.

Entrepreneurship Speaker Series: Leading a Commercially Successful Company with a Social Mission

Join the Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship on Wednesday, April 26, at 4 p.m. as part of the Case Western Reserve University Entrepreneurship Speaker Series in collaboration with the Kelvin Smith Library, featuring Steve Potash and Loree Potash (MSL '75), co-founders, OverDrive Inc.

The Potashes will lead a roundtable discussion on the topic of leading a commercially successful company with a social mission. OverDrive, a Certified B Corp company, uses their profit to promote reading and literacy to readers worldwide.

This event will take place in the Kelvin Smith Library Freedman Center Collaboration Commons, with a virtual option available via Zoom for remote attendees. RSVP to receive the meeting link via email.
