New Reproductive Health Website: July 18, 2022

To Our Case Western Reserve University Campus Community:

We know the Dobbs Supreme Court decision and resulting Ohio legislation elicited many questions and emotions for our CWRU community. We appreciated your patience as we gathered information for you, and today you may access the university’s new Reproductive Health website

Developed with valuable input from faculty (including many from the health sciences), staff, students and external experts, this website serves as resource for information related to reproductive health. Please note that the website is accessible to those with university credentials via single sign-on.

The website includes dedicated sections for students and for faculty and staff, as well as an FAQ, information on the university’s Roe Ruling Response Task Force, the legal and legislative context of the ruling and related university communications

As always, the health and safety of our Case Western Reserve community continues to be our highest priority. Further, we support all individuals’ rights to reproductive health. And finally, we are committed to academic freedom and we will continue to uphold our policy on freedom of expression, as we know there are a range of opinions and views on this topic.

We soon will confirm the membership of the Roe Ruling Response Task Force and its working groups and will post their membership on the Reproductive Health website. We are fortunate to have faculty and staff with considerable expertise in areas related to reproductive health, and we want to ensure their voices are represented appropriately.

I will share more information as it becomes available and we will update the website as necessary.

In the meantime, be assured that you are member of a supportive university community, and please continue support one other.
