About the Program

With its forward-thinking program design, world-class faculty and flexible curriculum, Weatherhead School of Management's top-ranked part-time MBA gives you the leadership and business skills you need to advance yourself, your colleagues, your company and the world. As the highest-ranked part-time MBA degree in Northern Ohio and the #12 in the country, according to Fortune, our program attracts top business professionals who are committed to furthering their education and careers. Our cohort-based format allows you and your classmates to grow together, developing a strong network and lasting friendships.

What to Expect

In under three years, you’ll complete 48 hours of coursework in our cohort-based program that offers the same challenging curriculum as our full-time MBA. With faculty guidance, you’ll create a personalized learning plan through our Leadership Assessment and Development (LEAD) course that combines the curriculum and elective options into an integrated degree focused on honing your general management skills.

Core classes meet one evening per week in the fall and spring semesters and in more intensive formats in the summer. You’ll choose five elective options in the program’s final stages and can determine your own specializations without the rigid structure of formalized concentration areas.

As a father and full-time employee, I found CWRU's part-time MBA program to be as accessible as it was worthwhile. The curriculum gave me the tools and perspective required to monitor and adapt to fast-moving fields like R&D.
