About the Program

At Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management, we’re preparing the next generation of product managers to lead teams in today’s data- and digital-intensive world. The online delivery of our MBA in Product Management program, combined with periodic residencies on campus, offers greater flexibility and opportunities for experiential learning for working professionals who are looking to pivot to new, promising careers in product management. In our 2.5-year program, you’ll gain both the hands-on experience and the technical skills used in software development, finance and banking, healthcare and a wide range of manufacturing and service industries so you can lead product-management teams across industries.

What to Expect

Our graduate degree consists of a core MBA suite of courses (28.5 credits) and product management specialization suite of courses (19.5 credits). The core MBA courses provide a strong foundation in the basics of business management, while  the product management courses are structured around four pillars:

  1. Foundations of Product Management
  2. Product Discovery
  3. Product Design & Development
  4. Product Marketing and Growth
Weatherhead’s MBA in Product Management fills the need for curriculum targeting product management, as the market for product management talent is as competitive as it is for software engineers.
