Master of Supply Chain Management

About the Program

With a Master of Supply Chain Management from Case Western Reserve University, you’ll create substantial, measurable impacts in national and global operations and supply chain management across a range of industries. Our flexible program can be completed in as little as nine months or up to two years, if you choose to extend your degree with add-on certificates such as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Business Analytics. Whatever your goals, you can customize our curriculum to help you achieve them.

What to Expect

Through our supply chain management program, you’ll supplement our rigorous classroom curriculum with action-based learning at renowned companies. Kick off your core analytics coursework with lessons in probability and statistics, then build your knowledge base with advanced operations, supply chain management and elective classes that interest you most. Plus, you’ll have the chance to add on to your degree with Green Belt and Black Belt certifications in Lean Six Sigma or aim for a certification in Business Analytics.

A note for international applicants: The MSCM at CWRU qualifies as a STEM degree, which allows you to extend your stay for 24 months—totaling three years of work in the U.S.

In this program, I gained the data and analytics tools needed to improve my technical skills and deepen my knowledge about operations and supply chain management. Weatherhead helped me to enhance my professional skills and prepared me for adapting to a new business culture, language and other challenges after graduation.

Beyond the Classroom

Put your supply chain knowledge into action in internships with local companies. Then, after graduation, you can circle back to those organizations for full-time opportunities—as our alumni can attest: Almost all of our graduates who have sought out employment were placed within six months of commencement.

Our alums have ended up at organizations such as Cleveland Clinic, Moen, Warner Bros. and Paypal. And this field offers a promising starting salary, which is why Case Western Reserve is consistently rated one of the best schools for return on investment.
