Dorothy Faller (MSSA '75), ACSW, was the special guest on a recent episode of the Mandel School's podcast, Change Leaders.
A member of the Mandel School's first management class, she also took coursework in clinical social work. This type of educational combination—in administration and clinical social work—was not common in 1975 and the same can be said today, 50 years later. It is, however, this combination that prepared Faller for her profession in working with and leading many local, national and international organizations and the people they served around the world.
She has received continual mention in Who’s Who in the World, and has been in Who’s Who of American Women, Who’s Who in America and the Directory of Distinguished Americans.
In fall 2024, she was elected an NASW Social Work Pioneer and will be inducted at the 18th annual program and luncheon, titled "The Future is Now: Charting a Course for Social Justice for All," on Saturday, Oct. 19, in Washington, D.C.
