Mandel School’s Ann Nguyen selected for early-career research honor

Ann Nguyen, assistant professor at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, was selected to be a Research Education Component (REC) Scholar by the Cleveland Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center.

The REC aims to support the scientific and career development of early career investigators through mentoring activities and a series of program activities, along with a yearly support of $40,000 for a research project for two years with the goal to develop an R01 grant proposal or career development application by June 30, 2024.
