The annual Society for Social Work and Research (SSWR) 2022 Conference is taking place this year from Jan. 12–16, 2022 in Washington, D.C. and online. It will feature social work education presentations, an exhibit hall and networking opportunities.
Themed Social Work Science for Racial, Social and Political Justice, the conference offers a scientific program that reflects a broad range of research interests, from workshops on the latest quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to symposia featuring studies in child welfare, aging, mental health, welfare reform, substance abuse and HIV/AIDS.
In light of the surge of cases due to the COVID-19 Omicron variant, many of our faculty, researchers, students and alumni are no longer attending or presenting at SSWR in person; there is limited opportunity to present virtually at the conference, as it depends on how presentations were originally accepted.
