The Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship regularly hosts events and workshops through their Speaker Series and Skills Lab Series, which are designed to provide opportunities for students to engage in important discussion and learn valuable skills. They’ll be hosting several events in March:

Opportunities and Restrictions in Technology Policy

As part of their Entrepreneurship Speaker Series, they will host a roundtable discussion on Wednesday, March 20, with Pablo Chavez, Founder at Tech Policy Solutions, LLC.

Before joining the private sector, Chavez served on the Senior Counsel to the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation. Additionally, he has experience with Google and Microsoft managing policy and tech issues in a number of roles.

Revolutionizing Healthcare: The Nexus of Innovation and Entrepreneurship

The Entrepreneurship Speaker Series will be presenting a roundtable discussion on Thursday, March 21, with Kendra Gardiner, Director or Product Strategy at University Hospitals.
Gardiner’s background encompasses 20 years of diverse experience ranging from entrepreneurship, to corporate roles in strategic marketing and new product development, to serving as a strategic and operational leader working in “scaleup” companies.

Branding Your Own Business

The Entrepreneurship Skills Lab Series will present a workshop on branding your own business with Megan Kuhar, Associate Director of Marketing and Communications at the Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship.

Finding your brand voice is a daunting task and storytelling is the backbone of your brand. Kuhar is a brand strategy coach and digital marketing specialist who will help guide you in building your personal or business brand.
