Professor of Organizational Behavior, Chris Laszlo, published the article “Strengthening Humanistic Management” in the Humanistic Management Journal May 2019 Edition.
In this new article, Chris Laszlo draws on converging insights between the new sciences and ancient spiritual traditions to outline Quantum Leadership, an emerging paradigm at the heart of Business as an Agent of World Benefit. Laszlo argues that integrating elements of quantum leadership into humanistic management strengthens it in ways that are essential to humankind’s ability to shift to full-spectrum flourishing, defined as a world in which people and all life thrive now and across future generations. His new book on Quantum Leadership is being published this summer by Stanford University Press.
Chris Laszlo, PhD, is Professor of Organizational Behavior at Case Western Reserve University, where he researches and teaches flourishing enterprise. He is an Adjunct Professor at the Drucker School of Management of Claremont Graduate University and Distinguished Visiting Scholar at Benedictine University. He is the author of Flourishing Enterprise (2014), Embedded Sustainability (2011), and Sustainable Value (2008), all from Stanford University Press. Chris is also the managing partner of Sustainable Value Partners, a sustainability strategy consulting firm he co-founded in 2002. He was elected in 2018 as incoming Chairperson of the Academy of Management MSR Interest Group.
