What are you up to?
I am working at Huntington Bank as a talent management generalist. I started with Huntington as an intern in June of 2021, continued working for them in a co-op capacity during the second year of my MBA, and started full time in June of 2022.
As a talent management generalist, I work to develop our most important asset: the people! I work on a myriad of things, from the internship program and early career experience to performance and succession planning for executive and senior leadership.
How did you find this job?
I found this job on Handshake! The Career Management Office was very helpful when I needed help with resume review and interview preparation. In my position, I am most excited to get to help early career students and professionals find their passion at work.
What is something you learned during your time at Weatherhead that you’ve been able to use in your current role?
One of my most valuable classes was the LEAD course in our first semester of the MBA. That course really encouraged me to explore my values and career vision in order to find a career path that would be fulfilling for me. I use the learnings from this course every day as I help early career colleagues to navigate their own career journeys.
What advice would you offer to any current MBA students at Weatherhead?
Manage your Google Calendar really well, and lean on your MBA team whenever you can!
What do you love most about Weatherhead?
The Organizational Behavior Department faculty and courses were world class and shaped my Weatherhead experience. I also loved learning alongside my classmates with such varied backgrounds and experiences.
