On Dec. 14, 2023, 149 companies from Northeast Ohio were recognized by the Weatherhead School of Management at the 35th Annual Weatherhead 100 Awards Ceremony for their leadership, growth and success in the region.
The event took place at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland with 735 guests attending. The program was emceed by Sia Nyorkor, an Emmy award-winning journalist from Cleveland 19 News.
Established in 1988, the Weatherhead 100 Awards are the premier celebration of the companies leading the way in Northeast Ohio. Organizations that make the list are recognized for their percentage of revenue growth over the past five years.
The awards are separated into four categories: Enterprise (formerly known as Upstart), Titan (formerly known as Centurion), Weatherhead 100 and Emergent Businesses (new for 2023). Enterprise are fast-growing companies with 15 or fewer employees or net sales of less than $5 million last year. Titan are fast-growing companies with at least $100 million net sales last year that help drive the region. Weatherhead 100 companies are celebrated for big growth in net sales over the past five years - from at least $100K to $1 million. And Emergent Business are companies in business for two to four years with an increase in sales.
