Bailey Kaplan is a senior at Case Western Reserve University, triple majoring in computer science, cognitive science and psychology. She has been with xLab since the spring semester of 2020, when she and her team worked on a mobile app for a large-scale transportation company.
“I learn best when I’m hands-on, and I enjoy doing real work for a company during the school year, without having to give up time on campus,” says Kaplan.
This semester, Kaplan will play a lead role on both xLab project teams, bringing her computer design talents to the Hyland Software project, and leverage her experience leading a team for the robotics project.
From her involvement with xLab, Kaplan learned that she likes working with teams from different backgrounds on innovation projects and as they navigate how to translate business needs into technology and design. After graduation, she’ll be joining Alteryx as an associate product manager in New York City.
