Scene 18

The grand procession to the Royal Court begins, which is followed by the Donkey Court. The poor mute boy of Olan is taken as Min Ko just because he could not roar in joy like others did. He is now tortured to be forced to confess. The Contemporary tried to not torture the mute boy in vain. Since he really can't speak any word, he is, again, believed to make fools of the emperor and his people. Since the mute boy does not speak, Hwang Ti becomes more and more upset and shouts out the truth about himself.
