The Albert & Norma Geller Hillel Student Center is located on the Case Western Reserve University campus, and opened in spring 2016. The Cleveland Hillel Foundation, established in 1947, provides resources to a vibrant Jewish community of more than 2,500 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students attending eleven colleges and universities in the Cleveland area. Hillel’s programming is student-driven and provides social and religious support, holiday and weekly Shabbat meals, daily activities, and a comfortable place to study or hang out with friends. The building offers a drop-in space for students, and includes a pool table, arcade games, puzzles and games, and quiet spaces. Hillel staff are available to discuss Jewish life on campus, leadership opportunities, Israel trips and culture, internships and more. Cleveland Hillel is a “home away from home” for Jewish students at CWRU.
