Ksenia Un

Ksenia is the Virginia and Walter Nord Postdoctoral Fellow at the Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities, where she is researching how visual culture shaped understandings of diversity in the course of the late Russian Empire’s eastward expansion. Her book project situates the production of art and media in local contexts that illuminate understandings of difference across modern Eurasia. She holds a PhD from the Department of Art History and Visual Studies at Cornell University and an MPhil from the Department of History of Art and Architecture at the University of Cambridge. Prior to completing her PhD, Ksenia held positions at the American Federation of Arts, International Center of Photography, and Guggenheim Museum.
