Charley Knox (CIT ’74; GRS ’78, physics)

For nearly five decades, Charley Knox has been a fixture of the Case Western Reserve community, both as co-founder of the CWRU Film Society Science Fiction Marathon, which celebrated its 50th year in 2025, and later as an associate astronomer in the university’s Department of Astronomy.

Since 1978, Knox has kept telescopes up to date and taught students how to use them, and managed the department’s computer technology.
