Lew Katz 

Cited as an “expert in criminal law” by the New York Times, Lew Katz, who serves as the John C. Hutchins Professor of Law Emeritus, has been a faculty member at Case Western Reserve University School of Law since 1966.

With a primary interest in the Fourth Amendment, Katz’s books and articles have been cited in more than 200 cases and legal articles by numerous courts, including the United States Supreme Court. 

Katz directs the law school's Graduate Program for Foreign Students in U.S. Legal Studies.
