Research in the Neural Engineering Center in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University is mainly supported by grants from agencies and foundations including the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, Veterans Affairs, Ohio Third Frontier, Ohio Board of Regents, Cleveland Foundation and private foundations.

The Neural Engineering Center's core facilities are located in the Wickenden Building on Case Western Reserve's campus and include:
