The School of Dental Medicine is pleased to announce that Dr. T. Gerard (Gerry) Bradley, executive vice president and university provost at the University of Louisville, will serve as the School of Dental Medicine’s 2025 Commencement Speaker this May.
Dr. Bradley brings a wealth of experience in dental education, research, and leadership. Before becoming provost at the University of Louisville in 2022, he served as dean of the School of Dentistry and has been instrumental in advancing academic excellence, enrollment growth and student success. Under his leadership, UofL has achieved record enrollment and its highest retention rates in history.
A diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Bradley has dedicated his career to advancing the field of dentistry through education and research. Prior to his role at Louisville, he was chair and professor of Developmental Sciences at Marquette University School of Dentistry, where he also served as associate dean for Research and Graduate Studies. His academic journey has taken him across the globe, earning his BDS in Cork, Ireland, completing orthodontic specialty training and an MS at The Ohio State University and obtaining a Doctorate in Dentistry from the University of Bern, Switzerland.
The School of Dental Medicine is honored to welcome Dr. Bradley to our commencement ceremony and look forward to the insights and inspiration he will share with our graduating class.
