The Engaged Leaders Academy is a ten month long cohort experience offered to faculty and staff who want to explore how they might be more effective leaders.
The program is a combination of exposing them to the many resources on campus, as well as community organizations that can help them develop more as leaders both on campus and in the community.
The program is sponsored by the Office for Campus Enrichment and Engagement.
Under the program, staff and faculty from various departments and schools meet monthly for 2 hour sessions to explore and discuss leadership development to engage in activities that are designed to produce a reflective pause and have the cohort explore their own leadership potential and qualities.
The program provides an opportunity for engagement with other members of the campus community, as well as key organizations in Greater Cleveland.
25 individuals are selected for each cohort of the program, which begins in February and concludes in November with a graduation ceremony.
The Engaged Leaders Academy has been described as informative, valuable and transformative by past participants. For more information about the program, contact Jason Steckel at jws2@case.edu.
