Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Ohio (AICUO)
The Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Ohio was organized in 1969 to represent the interests of its 51 members to Ohio's lawmakers, regulators and citizens. AICUO seeks to strengthen student financial aid programs and bring about a greater understanding of the benefits and contributions of Ohio independent colleges and universities. At the same time, the association works to promote the well being of Ohio higher education as a whole, with special regard for the dual private/public nature of the responsibility to serve the educational, social, and cultural needs of the state and the nation.
