Access to the FIS is restricted to CWRU faculty and administrative staff who are involved in business practices involving faculty information. Those interested in obtaining access to the FIS must complete and submit the form below to begin the authorization process. Your request will be verified with the appropriate dean/executive office for approval. Once the approval is obtained, your role at the institution will determine the level of access to faculty information you will be assigned in the system.
You will need a CWRU login and password in conjunction with Two-factor authentication to access the Faculty Information System (FIS). Should you experience problems logging into the system, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Faculty do not need to request access to the FIS. Faculty access is granted upon hiring.
Administrative Staff Access
Administrative staff interested in obtaining access to the FIS must complete and submit an Access Request Form and review the FIS Confidentiality Agreement to begin the authorization process. Requests should be presented to the appropriate school Faculty Affairs administrator for approval prior to submission to email@example.com. Once the approval is obtained, the individual's role at the institution will determine the level of access to faculty information.
Delegation/impersonation access to activity information and/or the annual review can be granted to administrative staff who receive advance approval from their school. Requests for delegation/impersonation access should be directed to the appropriate school dean's office.
Students cannot be granted access to the FIS. Students who need access to faculty information should visit the CWRU Directory.
