Reinventing Education in the Metaverse with HoloAnatomy® Suite
November 29, 2022
1:00PM - 2:00PM (EST)
When Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine planned its new medical education building, the administration decided that the building would not include cadaveric dissection labs. This created an opportunity for the faculty to develop a new approach to anatomy education levering Industrial Metaverse technology. Thanks to the partnership with Microsoft, HoloAnatomy Software and subsequently HoloAnatomy Neuro Software were born.
This session will explore how mixed reality enabled a reinvention of anatomy education for better learning outcomes with CWRU Executive Director of Global Sales, Nancy Farrow, Finger Lakes Community College Associate Professor, Christine Parker, and Texas Christian University School of Medicine Founding Dean, Dr. Stuart Flynn.
Discussion will cover:
- How education is being reinvented with HoloAnatomy
- Finger Lakes Community College and Texas Christian University experience with HoloAnatomy
- Advice for institutions considering reinventing learning with mixed reality.
