Sharona Hoffman and her co-author, Andy Podgurski (Case Western Reserve University School of Engineering), have published an article entitled “The Patient’s Voice: Legal Implications of Patient-Reported Outcome Measures.” The Article, which appears in the Yale Journal of Health, Policy, Law and Ethics, discusses the benefits and risks of asking patients to document their own symptoms, treatment outcomes and health status through electronic questionnaires. Hoffman will give a talk on the topic at the 2023 Arizona Telehealth Policy Summit on Oct. 24. The full article can be found here.
