Yumiko Tsushima, MD, is a physician at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center who specializes in endocrinology. She is a graduate of Cornell University where she received her Bachelor’s degree and received her medical degree from Shiga University of Medical Science in Japan. Dr. Tsushima completed her post graduate training both in the United States and Japan. Her endocrinology fellowship was completed at the Cleveland Clinic. She is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Case Western Reserve University.
Dr. Tsushima is a member of a number of professional societies, including the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology and the American Diabetes Association. She has been featured and published in several national and local presentations regarding endocrinology studies and reports. She has also produced endocrinology teaching material, along with teaching activities for trainees and staff.
