Effective Reproduction Number (Rt)
The most recent data suggests an Rt spiking well above 1.0 in early December, but returning to levels closer to 1.0 in the time since, and declining gradually in the last 1-2 weeks.
Projected Incidence
Daily incidence appears most likely to decline gradually in the coming two weeks.
Asymptomatic to Symptomatic Ratio
The ratio of asymptomatic to symptomatic cases appears to have remained largely stable at a relatively low level since mid-December. A low ratio of asymptomatic to symptomatic cases facilitates mitigation efforts since symptomatic individuals usually isolate.
