Effective Reproduction Number (Rt)
After reaching levels near 1.0 in early April, estimated Rt has declined to levels substantially less than 1.0.
Daily case counts are expected to remain at similar levels, although considerable uncertainty exists. Continued masking and social distancing will be critical to preventing increases.
Asymptomatic to Symptomatic Ratio
After remaining slightly elevated in early April, the ratio of asymptomatic to symptomatic cases appears to have returned to a normal level in the past 2 weeks. A low ratio of asymptomatic to symptomatic cases facilitates mitigation efforts since symptomatic individuals usually isolate.
