Carmine Bianchi

Carmine Bianchi is Professor of Business and Public Management at the University of Palermo (Italy), where he also serves as Scientific Coordinator of the CED4 System Dynamics Group. He is Director of the PhD program in Model-Based Public Planning, Policy Design, and Management, and leads the Master’s course Managing Business Growth through System Dynamics & Accounting Models: A Strategic Control Perspective.

Professor Bianchi is a member of the Steering Committee of the European Master in System Dynamics, an Erasmus Mundus program supported by the European Commission. He has published extensively in leading academic and professional journals and serves on several scientific committees.

His research and consulting activities focus on strategic planning and control, performance management and reporting, and the application of System Dynamics to support policy design and organizational improvement. He is a leading contributor to the development of Dynamic Performance Management, an approach that integrates strategy formulation with implementation to enhance performance and prevent organizational crises.

Over the past decade, Professor Bianchi has developed a wide international network of academic collaborations across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. In the United States, he has established strong research partnerships with institutions including the Center for Community Health Integration at Case Western Reserve University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Baruch College, and Florida Atlantic University.
