Dr. Krishan Chandar is an Emeritus Associate Professor of Neurology at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). He retired from clinical practice in 1999 and his main interest has been in education, teaching medical students and faculty at the medical school. He has received several teaching awards, including the "Gender Equity Award and The Kaiser Permanente Award," the two highest teaching awards at the medical school.
He is a Fellow of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor Society, Fellow of the Academy of Scholars and Educators (previously called master clinicians) at CWRU and Fellow of the Royal Society of London (FRS). He was also chosen as one of "America's Top Physicians in 2004-2005" by the America's Consumer Research Council.
