The resident education program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at University Hospitals (UH) MacDonald Women’s Hospital, is a fully accredited four-year program. UH MacDonald Women’s Hospital is an integral part of University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, a teaching affiliate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. UH MacDonald Women’s Hospital is one of only 11 free standing women’s hospitals in the U.S., and except for electives, our program is based entirely within the hospital. In 2006, based on the proven strength of our educational program, the Residency Review Committee (RRC) allowed our residency cohort to increase to five residents per year and in 2013 we received a five-year reaccreditation.
