Apply to be an RA next academic year
Resident assistant (RA) applications for the academic year 2026-27 are open now through Jan. 14.
The academic year 2026–27 resident assistant positions are live-in, on-campus positions that support the creation and facilitation of an integrated residential learning environment for undergraduate students. RAs uphold the mission and goals of the Office of Residence Life and the Division of Student Affairs.
Qualifications include (but are not limited to):
- Resident assistant candidates must be enrolled as undergraduate students at the time of applying for the position and must remain enrolled as undergraduate students in order to serve as an RA.
- Applicants need to live in the CWRU residence halls for at least one academic year by the start of their RA position (Students starting at CWRU in Fall 2025 are eligible for the 2026-2027 academic year positions).
- First-year students must have a minimum 2.25 cumulative GPA, a minimum 2.25 fall semester GPA, and be in good academic standing in order to apply.
- Second-year students or above must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA, a minimum 2.5 GPA for the semester preceding the start of their position, and be in good academic standing in order to apply.
