Apply to become a fall 2026 UCITE Learning Fellow
The University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education (UCITE) invites Case Western Reserve faculty members to participate in the fall 2026 Learning Fellows program, a semester-long seminar designed to support instructors in strengthening and expanding their teaching practice.
Throughout the program, a cross-disciplinary cohort will engage with current scholarship on learning and pedagogy and apply those insights directly to their own courses.
In this 14-week program, participants will explore core elements of effective, inclusive teaching—such as aligned course design, assessing student learning, active learning strategies and developing feedback literacy—and consider how these practices can be meaningfully integrated into their instructional contexts.
Whether in the early stages of a teaching career or long-established in the classroom, those part of the Learning Fellows program will find a collaborative space to exchange ideas, experiment with new approaches and enhance the impact of their teaching.
Sessions will take place every Wednesday in the Herrick Room of Allen Memorial Medical Library, from 12:35 to 1:50 p.m. Faculty who successfully complete the program will receive a $2,500 stipend for academic purposes.
