Apply for Sears think[box] Student Project Fund

Case Western Reserve University students are invited to apply for Sears think[box] Student Project Fund, a $2,500 award that covers materials, equipment, manufacturing and other project-related expenses.
Individuals who receive this award have the opportunity to gain support for extracurricular experiential learning activities, apply their ideas, test new skills and bring projects to life beyond the classroom.
Awarded funding will not support the following:
- Food, drinks or entertainment
- Stipends or time for project team members or others
- Fees for contractors or consultants
- Marketing materials, prizes, or giveaways
- Travel or travel-related expenses
- Expenses that do not appear on an approved budget
To be considered for the award, the scope of the proposed project must be technically feasible, extracurricular in nature and offer realistic deliverables and a work plan. Coursework-related or sponsored research projects are not eligible.
Students may apply individually or in a group no later than Oct. 17 at 11:59 p.m., with no more than $2,500 awarded to any single team. A notification of awards which will be received early November, followed by signed agreements due Nov. 17.
