Apply for the VCET: Vibe-Coded Ed-Tech Challenge
The Human & Technology Lab at Case Western Reserve University will host a weekend-long make-a-thon where students will have the opportunity to use AI-powered “vibe-coding” to design educational tools for teaching in the humanities at the VCET: Vibe-Coded Ed-Tech Challenge.
From games and chatbots to journals, storytelling apps and custom interfaces, participants with little to no prior coding experience are encouraged to use natural language vibe coding tools and focus on the emotions and values they want learners to feel.
Supported by the College of Arts and Sciences and the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Foundation, this workshop will take place April 17-19 at Nord Hall Room 356. Those interested in participating must apply by 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 12.
