A note for students from the Office of Greek Life
CWRU’s Greek Life is a unique Greek experience with exponential potential. We emphasize the ability for each potential new member to discover a sorority/fraternity that will celebrate their unique contributions to the chapter and help them further grow towards the best version of themselves through the lens of our four pillars: Citizenship, Leadership, Ritual and Scholarship. With 15 fraternities in our Interfraternity Congress, 10 sororities in our Panhellenic Council and some on-campus and city-wide NPHC chapters, there is a place for everyone to feel they belong.
As a returning undergraduate student, we want to reassure you that it is not too late to join a fraternity or sorority. With about 20% of the undergraduate population involved in Greek Life, you most likely already know someone who is a member. We encourage you to utilize those connections to learn more about the fraternity/sorority experiences of your friends. Each individual you talk with may highlight different aspects of what it means to be a member, and you may find that you have more in common with them than you think.
To learn more about Greek Life check out the Office of Greek Life website, as well as the Interfraternity Congress and Panhellenic Council website.
If you are a current member, we are excited to welcome you back to campus with some new programming and initiatives. Be on the lookout for more information in the Greek Life newsletter!
