NPR: Ted Steinberg, the Adeline Barry Davee Distinguished Professor of History in the College of Arts and Sciences and professor of law, discussed whether lawns will survive in Los Angeles as the city faces the most severe water restrictions the city has ever seen. “There's no question that the perfect lawn, as I've described it, is an ecological boondoggle,” he said.
