Assistance, care and resources from the Dean of Students Office

A message from Gregory J. Harris, Dean of Students

At Case Western Reserve, we encourage exploration and engagement in experiences that maximize the drive to succeed and abilities to make innovative and substantive contributions to fields of study, communities, careers, and beyond. Here, we are immersed in a dynamic environment, which tests resiliency in ways that exercise skills, facilitate growth, and create ways to become better people and versions of ourselves.

There are opportunities for vast and transformative experiences along this multidimensional, multifaceted journey and, to assist along the way, the Dean of Students Office is here to provide guidance while fostering a community of care and connections to resources that help students continue to engage and thrive. We collaboratively work across the Division of Student Affairs and our university partners to assist all students, parents/families, faculty, and staff with matters related to student life, well-being, and success. We help to provide holistic support and resources to members of our University community to overcome challenges, celebrate achievements, hone critical thinking skills, to make well-informed decisions, and engage in healthy and safe activities.

If you have questions or would like to connect with the Dean of Students Office to learn more about resources and services, please visit our website and feel free to reach out to deanofstudents@case.edu or 216.368.1527.

Best wishes for a wonderful academic year and Go Spartans!

Gregory J. Harris, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs & Dean of Students
